ANNIE’S JOURNEY
“I've been performing the character of Grown Up Orphan Annie since 2015, developing her through character stand-ups around the US and programs like See What Sticks (LA), Heels Over Head and Potluck (Chicago). The full-length show was workshopped in 2022 with The Elysian Theater as part of their Very In Progress programming (thank you, Elysian Theater!).
I hope this show encourages audiences to be a bit gentler with their own and each other’s eccentricities. Grown Up Orphan Annie shows us that in our least likable moments, we can find our truest friends. And Annie REALLY wants to be your friend.”
