Katherine Bourne Taylor is a Los Angeles actor, creator, comedian and Redhead About Town by way of Chicago & Dallas. Currently, she’s filming anything from features to commercials, getting her directorial and writing debut, Ships in the Night, through on its festival run, and performing improv bi-weekly at The Pack Theater with her team Fishnet. She produced and starred in the short film Cool for Five Seconds, which premiered on the curated Omeleto channel after an award-winning festival run (BendFilm, deadCenter, TallGrass, Mammoth Lakes among others). You may have noticed her in the pilot episode of the HBO series, Lovecraft Country. You can also catch her out on the town performing her alter-ego, Grown Up Orphan Annie, and as the lead in the upcoming indie feature Clown and Out, directed by 2-time Emmy winner Sergio Guerrero.

Theatrically, she has performed with The Back Room Shakespeare Project (Chicago/LA), Raven Theatre, The House Theater of Chicago, The Gift Theatre, A Crew of Patches, Dallas Theater Center and Undermain Theatre (ensemble member), to name a few. Katherine earned her BFA in Acting at Southern Methodist University and studied with The British American Drama Academy and The School at Steppenwolf.

While living in Dallas, TX, she was a co-founder and producer of Shakespeare in the Bar and TRIBE, for which she was named a 2016 Dallas Mastermind and awarded a Best of Big D win.
